Grand Cru Of London

All aboard

Get ready to embark on an incredible journey with Grand Cru! Founded by legendary "The Who"guitarist Pete Townshend in the late '70s. The Grand Cru itself has a fascinating history, dating back to 1904 when it was originally built as a cargo vessel. With its impressive 24-meter steel hull, this single-masted boat has transformed over the decades, becoming Grand Cru Studios.

Grand Cru is located in St' Katharine docks a stones throw away from Tower Bridge, Tower Hill underground and Tower Gateway stations. The location provides a quiet area of London to work from with a great selection of restaurants and bars close by.

The studio centrepiece is a Solid Sate Logic AWS948 console offering 24 Stereo channels or 48 mono inputs and 24 super analogue mic pre's, an amazing selection of vintage and modern microphones, as well as vintage and modern outboard choices.

Onboard you will find three well treated recording spaces which include two live rooms and the control room with a recording space.
